Slot.It Offset Inline Crown Gear 24 tooth Bronze Insert
 
Must only be used with Slot.It Offset Motor mounts. The Offset arrangement allows the motor to sit closer to the track improving the weight distribution, this will also if running on wooden tracks with steel rails gain a marginal magnetic down force advantage.
 
By changing your gear ratio's using pinions and gears / crowns you can adjust the performance of your car to achieve high top speeds or high torque or a even middle, depending on track conditions and type you can set the ratio's accordingly.
